Sanctioned by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, The Communicators Awards honors work that transcends innovation and craft— work that makes a lasting impact. For over twenty years, The Communicator Awards have recognized big ideas in marketing and communications.
Our goal for Mariquitas was to create a campaign that spoke to the masses and allowed the brand to stand out in the social sphere. Mariquitas Chips embody history and tradition, so we devised a social strategy to spark conversation, and introduce the brand to a global market. We took it back to our roots and created entire sets made in miniature featuring delicious Mariquitas. We launched the account around the holidays and it has grown exponentially since.
Our team curated a social presence for Mariquitas that exudes whimsy, positioning Mariquitas as the perfect snack for a variety of situations and activities. From rock climbing, to sumo wrestling, and everything in between, Mariquitas are the small chips with huge flavor.
